Scorpion starts with high quality aluminum alloy parts that are produced on the latest CNC milling machines. These parts are then gold anodized to provide a beautiful, long-lasting finish. The stators are made with 0.2mm laminations to give maximum efficiency, and minimum Eddy current losses. The stators are epoxy coated to prevent shorts, and are wound with wire that is rated at 180 degrees C (356 F). The magnets used in Scorpion Motors are N-50EH style, which are rated for operation at 200 degrees C (392 F), making a motor that is virtually impossible to burn up in normal use. Great motor t-rex 450, but needs some adapting March 27, 2008 Reviewer: Wulong from Norway, Florų   I bought this because my stock motor were to weak for my 3D. It's shipped with stupid screw head and are pretty short, I had to change them. Besides this I had to grind or expend the motor holes in the motor-mount plate. When I got the motor up and running it works flawlessly, highly recommended even thou with the grinding. Running mine with Kong Power 2.2Ah 25C and stock Align 35X ESC. The Scoprion Motor -6 January 27, 2008 Reviewer: Jason  Chow from La Crescenta , CA United States   This motor is ridiculously fast, by far the most postful motor on 3s in my opinion available for a 450. scorpion motor rocks!!!! November 24, 2007 Reviewer: trex600pup from  PR United States   hey guys running this scorpion motor in a rctek 450 almost the same as the trex 450 and all i can say is dam this motor has plenty of power no bog at all and stays cool to the touch but you will need a esc that can handle the amps and a batt that is 25c or more but for your power hungree this is the motor for you Was this review helpful to you?
