This heli is definitely worth the money. This thing is light and extremely peppy! Amazing cyclic response. I love how the frame design incorporates channels for wire placement making the build very clean. the only problem I have noticed is the flimsy tail fins. I actually broke the vertical tail fin during the build by inadvertently pushing it into the table and replaced it with a T-rex 500 fin...works fine...lasts a long time!!!

I just got my Protos last week. I had it assembled in 2 days and I can say I truly enjoyed the assembly and setup. The first hover went off without a hitch. This thing flies like a dream and seems to have all the power anyone could ever need. The only thing I wish came standard was a 15T pinion along with the 18T. The included 18T is way too much under 6S and heats up the heli when you dial it back. As far as the design of this heli, it is built for easy maintenance and sturdiness. The only dislike I have about it is the tail fin happens to be a wet noodle, and seems to be a tad short (2cm). I'm sure any aftermarket CF tail fin would straighten this out. I think the value for the dollar is incredible for the kit with motor and blades. I personally think the engineering on this heli surpasses the TREX500 in design elegance, weight and durability. Without having a crash under my belt with it that is sort of hard to say, but when you hold the plastics in your hands I bet you would agree.
