KONTRONIK announces a new software version 9 for all JIVE Controllers.
This version corrects the following:
In rare cases, the firmware would accidentally change the stored settings unexpectedly. (i.e. RPM while starting up) This would make the JIVE seem like it had forgotten its programming.
In the case of the BEC shutting down due to Inductive voltage back feeding from the servos, the BEC would take longer to bring back to full power. V9 restores full power after .5 seconds, and raises the shutdown voltage threshold out of the inductive voltage range.
KONTRONIK is offering a FREE upgrade to Version 9 for all Jive ESCís regardless of current software version, until July 31st 2010. All JIVE ESCís are required to be sent to KONTRONIK for update, along with a completed KONTRONIK Repair form.
Online update via Progdisk is NOT possible.
In order to ensure your package is received as quick as possible, be sure to mark the package as "Warranty Repair or Service, No VAT is to be charged".
Also please be sure to include your Name, Address and Phone number on the outside of the package.
